Who are FaceStorm anyway?
FaceStorm was set up by James Black and Sean Wilson, who have been
at the forefront of e-marketing for almost 10 years.
In the late 1990s we were pioneers in Viral Marketing, setting up
Defused Interactive, one of the first companies in the UK to use
Flash games and animation as a form of online marketing.
The success of that business led to commissions from bluechip companies
such as the BBC, Channel Four, Channel 5, ABC TV in America and Blackthorn
Cider.
The pinnacle of our viral marketing exploits came in 2002 when a
World Cup animation received over 1 million visitors within the first
24 hours of launch.
Since then, we have set up Underground Creative Ltd, a new company
which focuses on seeking out emerging trends in online marketing.
There is no doubt that the social networking phenomenon has opened
up a new channel for web marketing, and FaceStorm aims to help businesses
take advantage of the possibilities it offers.
